Flooding Preparation

Hyrum City has been receiving phone calls from its residents with concerns about potential flooding issues over the next few weeks. 

Hyrum City has purchased unfilled sandbags and sand for only Hyrum City residents to use. These ready to fill sand bags are free to all Hyrum City residents (limited - no more than 20 bags per household/group) and can be filled at 600 East 75 North (east of cemetery and west of ambulance station). 

If you do not live in Hyrum City limits you will need to get your sand and sandbags from the city/town you live in or see below on where you can purchase them. 

If a Hyrum resident needs more than 20 sandbags: You can to purchase your sandbags from one of the following local retailers:

 • Ag Supply Stores

 • Home Improvement Stores

 • Walmart

 • Smithfield Implement

 • Stock Building Supply

 • Tractor Supply Co.

 • Uline

 • Granger

Purchasing Sand

If you are in need of sand, you can purchase it from one of the following local retailers:

 • LeGrand Johnson Contruction Co.

 • Staker/Parsons Companies

 • Geneva Rock

 • Other Landscape Companies
