Hyrum Holiday at Hardware Bring the family for some fun and refreshments. Free sleigh rides to see the elk from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

General Election

The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.  All Hyrum Residents will vote at the Civic Center, 83 West Main.  (No other buildings will be used this year.)

Hyrum Library/Museum Time Capsule

We will be sealing the "Time Capsule" in the front of the Library @ 11:00 a.m. Everyone is invited, please plan to attend.

Irrigation Water Turned Off

Hyrum City is in the process of turning off the pressurized irrigation system.  There maybe water in the system for a couple of days depending on where you live.

Back to School Dance!  Come to the Elite Hall for a great evening of dancing and entertainment.  Dances are held the 2nd Saturday of every month.
9:00 pm - Midnight
$5.00 per person admission

National Night Out

Hyrum's National Night Out will be Tuesday August 6th. Come and join us from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm some of the events include:

• Free hamburgers and soda's for the whole family
• Driving and Shooting simulators from the Cache County Sheriff  Department
• Cache County Sheriff's K-9 demonstration
• Hyrum Fire and EMS
• Life Flight will fly in and land on the City Square @ 7:30 pm
• Vince and Larry (Crash Dummies) will be here giving out coloring books from Autoliv
• Several other informational booths
• Lots of prizes will be given out during a drawing

THE COBRAS, JAGUARS & FRIENDS REUNION

Remember The Cobra's and The Jaguar's? If you do you will be excited about the night that is being planned for the Elite Hall. The Cobra's were the local band that would hold monthly dances at the Elite Hall for all of the local kids in the late 1960's.

Craig Yeaman, one of the original band members of The Cobra's had a vision of having a dance in conjunction with Sky View and Logan High's 40th class reunion and having all of the proceeds going toward the Elite Hall's foundation. He mentioned this to Burke Jensen the main force behind The Jaguar's, with his help and enthusiasm the dream has quickly progressed and will become a reality July 28th. They have assembled most of the original band members plus a few more talented friends. Please plan on attending this great event. It will be a night  to remember!! Library Open House and Dedication

The Hyrum City Library Open House and dedication wll be Memorial Day Weekend. Saturday at 2:oo pm M. Russell Ballard from the Council of Twelve will be the special speaker.

Recreation Signups

Hyrum City's Summer Youth Baseball and Softball Registration will be held in March on every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.at Hyrum City Offices.  You must come during these times in order to register.
